# Create avatar

To use an avatar in SpeedLight, specify your details:

1. Avatar Second Life name (not the display name)
2. Avatar Second Life password
3. The in-world location to login

Once you create an avatar, it can be logged into Second Life.

### Saving the password

You may want to save the avatar password with SpeedLight if you don't want to enter it each time. The password is stored on your device only (not passed to SpeedLight at all).
