# 3D Avatars

SpeedLight 3D View displays avatars as animated stick figures:

It works this way because of several reasons:

* Second Life avatars can be unpredictably huge (up to *millions faces*),
* Huge avatar consume mobile traffic
* Huge avatar rendering drain the battery power on mobile devices

### Loading 3D avatars

You can load any avatar in 3D by demand by right-clicking (long-tapping) and choosing "Load 3D avatar" menu:

3D avatars are currently static (not animated) and still in development.
